Meet Keesha Pesce, LCSW
I would first like to say that I am so glad that you are here! My name is Keesha Pesce and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Connecticut. I have practiced as a Social Worker for almost a decade. In that time I worked as a Family Therapist, School Social Worker, and College Mental Health Therapist. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing stressors related to life transitions, work and academic related stress, racial/cultural identity development, relationships, and motherhood.
My practice is informed by Mindfulness, which is grounded in increasing awareness to the present moment to support in navigating strong or intense feelings/emotions. I also utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which is centered around creating space for all feelings and reduce the use of avoidance to create changes that are more aligned with how you want to live your life.
All of our sessions are centered around you and your needs, and how they may change week to week. Therapy is a space for you to support your growth. My role is to provide a warm and supportive space to allow that.
